CLOVE + WHOLE began from a place of brokenness and healing. “Clove” meaning a “splitting apart” was something founder, Naomi Phan-Quang, felt most acutely in the Fall of 2015 - a few weeks after the birth of her fourth child. A debilitating postpartum experience brought to light her deep need to create and to make broken, discarded things whole again. Creation and restoration continue to be the guiding principles at C+W - giving a second life to forgotten furnishings and objects, celebrating renewal with thoughtful imagery.
